前回はタイトルを読んでみたので、今回はタイトルの下にある「まとめ」部分を読んでみましょう。

記事自体は長くても、この部分を読めば大体の内容は分かっちゃいます。

ただし、まとめがついていない記事もあるのでご注意ください！

それでは2022/1/1の記事を見てみましょう。

まずタイトルです。

オミクロンのhospitalization risk(=入院リスク)はlower than delta(デルタ株より低い)

vaccines provide good protection(ワクチンの予防効果もgood)

The U.K. Health Security Agency found the risk of hospitalization for people infected with omicron is about a third of that posed by the delta variant.

The new U.K. study also found Covid vaccines reduce the risk of hospitalization from omicron across the board, though a booster dose provides the best protection.
３つありますが、今日は最初の1つ目に注目してみます。
The U.K. Health Security Agency (=英国健康安全局)は found the risk of hospitalization(※今日の表現でしたね！=入院するリスク) for people infected with omicron オミクロンにinfect(=感染した人) の is about a third (=3分の1) of that posed(=もたらす) by the delta variant.
タイトルに出てきた表現がまた使われていたので少し読みやすかったかもしれません。
